Lucy Shuttleworth is an experienced writer, producer and script editor. Working with talent such as Robert De Niro, Cathy Bates and Emilia Clarke. Credits include Michael Radford’s MERCHANT OF VENICE starring Al Pacino and Jeremy Irons and John Duigan’s HEAD IN THE CLOUDS starring Charlise Theron and Penelope Cruz. Her career began as a script consultant for Miramax recommending films such as TRAINSPOTTING, THE USUAL SUSPECTS and THE ENGLISH PATIENT.

Lucy co-wrote and associate produced THE SECRET OF MOONACRE directed by Gabor Csupo starring Iowan Griffuds, Tim Curry, Juliet Stevenson and Natasha McElehone and released by Warner Bros in 2008.

More recently she co-wrote THE NINTH CLOUD directed by Jane Spencer, starring Michael Madsen Megan Mazco and Jean-Hughes Anglade released on ITUNES in 2018. She has also adapted the best selling book DRIVING OVER LEMONS for Jaleo Pictures, THE BETRAYAL for Traveller Films and the best selling novel THE ENGLISH AMERICAN for Bright Pictures. Other projects in development include an original comedy drama I LIFE I LOVE (co-written with Alison Larkin) an original drama comedy for Ruby Rock. HONOUR for Rough Diamond Productions and SHADOW OF THE HULDRA an original film for Evil Doghouse Studios.

Lucy is also a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Portsmouth.
